LOD himself made clear later in the thread that his co-worker wasn't Hispanic.

Actually, he said his co-worker wasn't Mexican, and that's the part that was racist. Suppose the language in question had been Arabic and LOD said, "It's not racist because he's not even a Paki". Get it now? It seems like I'm the only one who understood this.
