Went to church today after work (thankfully the rain held off), (I usually arrive a little early to give me a little extra time with the kids) M and her family were already there, M and B (M's 3 yr old sister I have mentioned her In a past GM) were playing In front of the church with their father standing by well as soon as I pulled In M looked up and saw It was me, by the time I was backing up Into a parking spot around the building they were both running towards me, as soon as I got out I was tagged by M and had to chase after her, we then had a good game of tag (with-me, M, LB (little B), and OB (M and B's 12-14 yr old sister) started when we tagged LB she would then run away from us (In order to get her to tag u, you had to tell her to give u 5) she Is so cute lol.
Well we went Inside for a little bit, then came out and did more running then their mother came out with a tray of cup cakes OB had made I had been holding LB when she came out so I carried her up to get a cup cake and then we sat down at the tables, M tried very hard to squeeze in between me and OB so she could sit next to me but OB wouldn’t move so she sat up on the table as close to me as she could get; LB was giggling up a storm (about pretty much everything-one of her favorite lines is “I just pooted-I honestly don’t know how to spell that word and then she would start giggling well when she said that today it was so cute that I broke out laughing ) and when I turned to look at M and OB next to me the next thing I heard was LB laughing harder and telling me I had chocolate on my dress shirt (apparently she did It on purpose) all I could do was laugh and wipe It up, LB on the other hand was covered In chocolate by the time she finished I ended up having to take her to H (their 16 yr old sister-I really like this girl to) to have her cleaned up.
Now for my favorite part, through out the whole time I was there, M was hanging all over me; she tackled me quite a few time or she would push me and since I knew I was going down I would throw my arm around her waist and take her down with me (this got quite a few laughs out of her) its hard when falling, but I made sure neither of us landed on each other (if for no other reason than to keep her out of trouble) its actually quite hard to negotiate someone’s body when your both falling but she landed safely so its ok.
When it was time to go in for church I went down on my knee to pick LB up and M climbed on my back and wrapped her arms around my neck asking for a piggy back ride (would of gladly given her, her wish) but then I remembered what her sister had told me earlier (their dad doesn’t mind me playing with them but he doesn’t want M climbing all over me) so I had to remind her (sadly) and so she quickly let go and offered me her hand instead.
After the service I was talking with a friend and OB came back into the auditorium and told me that M was looking for me so I went out into the hallway and sure enough there she was waiting for me, as soon as she saw me she rushes over to see if I want to go play tag some more, I told her to wait while I finish talking with my friend there’s a pause and then she comes over and tags me saying I’m it, I politely excused myself from the friend and chased after her, soon enough we had quite a few kids playing with us, playing different versions of tag (M isn’t that hard to catch so everyone was going after her, so I would let her tag me and then ask her who she wanted to be it, she would name someone and I would chase that person and tag them for her-this made her smile a lot) then cops and robbers (you had to put your hand on the persons shoulder and then escort them to the jail) then freeze tag, when ever the tagger wasn’t around M would stand in front of me and have me A)lift her up into the air or B) spin her around like normal (sometimes she wouldn’t spin, just hold my hands while I spun ours in semi-circles (but she wouldn’t spin but at the same time wouldn’t let go of my hands)).
I ended up getting tackled by several of the kids and once I was down more would jump on top in an attempt to hold me down (of course I got up pretty easily) but they were pretty determined so it took a couple tries to actually get away from the tacklers.
All in all it was a really fun day and I can’t wait to see them again (I never get tired of seeing M), I should be able to go see them again tomorrow night.
