Tama, you are certainly not the person I expected to make the very first post with both "GM" and "Family Reunion" in the subject line!

Family reunions are great. You get peace, love, watermelons, and always that one uncle who doesn't understand open container laws. And every now and again meet a girl that gives you a sudden interest in geneology.

Even though it involves some girls who are technically my family... the closest they could possibly be to me is the children of my mother's cousin. Is there even a name for that?

Dude, I live in the south and even I'm confused!

(Second cousin or cousin-removed? One of those two, I think...)
