And then Emily came in and I was captivated.

And then she left, and I was sad.

I am very familiar with making the descent back to reality after a GM. One moment, Bliss. The next, a gaping void. It seems like the more time you spend with the little girl, the longer the emotional aftershock.

And then later I get sad and/or angry. Sad that these glimpses of heaven are so short and so shallow, that to interact more than I do, at any level, could very well land me in prison.

I have definitely been there. Interacting with little girls shouldn’t make us sad in any way, shape, or form. It’s just that having these few moments of pleasure reminds us of how sad and lonely the rest of our lives are. Reflecting on the joy felt with the LG during those moments helps to allay the sadness. When I feel sad afterward, I just tell myself, “You had a fantastic experience with a LG; this is a good thing, not a bad thing.” That usually helps quite a bit. Haha, I also think it helps if you try to have GMs as often as possible, but that’s not usually under our control.

Angry that I live in a time of unprecedented negativity towards Girl Love. That I can't express any feelings on any but the simplest level, can't have a special girl in my life, can't can't can't.

While the law restricts many intimate actions with little girls, I still find much joy in the actions that are considered appropriate (hugs, piggyback rides, cuddling while watching a movie, carrying them around, etc.). It sucks that we live in a society that doesnÂ’t accept our sexual orientation, but being mad about it isnÂ’t going to change anything. As far as having a special girl in your life, many posters here have had a special girl. Sure, itÂ’s never the ideal romantic situation, and it is often short-lived, but they are truly meaningful relationships for both the man and the LG. I unquestionably advise that the GLers donÂ’t do anything illegal or suspicious, and I believe that despite the limitations placed on us by society, we can be happy. Hopefully, things will change in the future, and we all need to do our best to bring about that change, but until then, we just need to accept what we have.

I read your post right before I read PaedestrianÂ’s post (above). I thought it was interesting, because there were so many crossovers in the thoughts I was having for you and the thoughts I was having for him. Not necessarily about loving yourself, but about how we need to accept things for what they are, and try to make the best of life as it is (see the quoted Serenity Prayer in above post ⛓️‍💥[Removed] ). It was hard for me to separate my opinions into two separate posts, but I think I did a pretty good job at directing the right thoughts at the right person. Crazy thought triangles...

I am not saying any of these things because I consider myself to more adept in these “positive thinking” skills. I just know that when I am feeling down, it’s this kind of logic that leads me out of it.

Haha, I hope I didnÂ’t bore you too much with my rant(s)... (x_x)'
