...is to come out in a grand style. Such as, for example, while receiving an award for "whatever", I say something like:

"I'm gratified to be receiving this award. But at the same time, I'm baffled, because Mr. X (the person awarding the award) has in the past said that people like me are sickos / monsters / should be shot / should commit suicide / etc. I can't help but wonder why I'm worthy of this award, but at the same time I'm a sicko / monster / should be shot / should commit suicide / etc. And all that of course, is because I happen to love females who are too young for Mr. X's tastes."
