Amen

Amen, brother. I am most often made aware of my many shortcomings when conversing with a child who hasn't yet been conditioned to not speak her mind. Children have excellent BS detectors. I have observed that when explaining a new concept to a child, if it cannot be reduced to the point that it makes sense to them, it's likely based on pretense. An interesting line of thought I once followed is to wonder how different things would be should large corporations have 7 year-old children serving as CEOs. I imagine that at the least, their mission statement would read a bit differently. By extension, I can wonder what the world would be like were the children to be the leaders of the land. My feeling is that many of our societal problems (i.e. wars over oil) would have been prevented. Comments?
