Nice! And one of my own

Heya. I was at the beach about a month ago with a friend (female, but adult.) The swimming area of the beach is surrounded by buoys attached by a rope that encircles the designated area. Well, we swam out to the farthest buoy and just sat there, hanging off the rope. It was peaceful, and I had a good view of all the girls playing in the water and on the beach. But here's the best part: Three kids, including two girls about age 10 or 11, followed the rope and wound up right by us. The girls started talking to me, and I kid you not, one of them was flirting with me. My friend (who knows about my orientation) didn't say anything, but when we discussed it later even she remarked about the girl flirting with me. This girl got right in my face too; I mean, literally about four inches away as she talked to me. There I was, mostly submerged in the water, with a 10-year-old girl in a swimsuit only inches away from me in the water, and far away from her parents or whoever brought the kids there. Was I tempted to reach out and hug her? Damn straight. But rest assured I kept my hands to myself. A pleasant end to a pleasant day. :)
