Why would one show many real aspects of themselves if it is so dangerous to do so?

Showing aspects of your personality that make it clear you are a decent, trustworthy, and multi-faceted individual is not the equivalent of posting identifying details like your real name, city and state you live in, etc.

There are many more parts to my life & personality but if i was to share them each one would identify me more & more specifically & over time create a detailed character profile. Isnt that the point of being shrouded & even a little deceiving when it comes to identifying attributes of ones self?

Detailed character profiles about your personality traits and viewpoints (many of which you will never share with anyone in real life) will not go very far if there are no specific identifying details to back them up. For instance, I have made it clear that I am a socialist, but so are many other people in society. In my nine and a half years on this board I have NEVER been identified by any random cyberspace surfer who knows me in real life simply on the basis of what they may have read in my profile on Wikisposure.

Look with the way things are today its not out of the realm of possibility that this whole board including you & the mods are actually all antis with an elaborate trap to catch maa's.

Since no one has ever been arrested solely as a result of posting on GC and not doing anything else that is against the law in the nearly ten years that GC has been online, I think it's safe to surmise that the board is not some elaborate sting operation run by the government.

Its like on one hand u say its very dangerous & there are many here u cant trust, but on the other hand its okay to trust me....trust me!

Though it's true we can never be totally sure if someone who posts on an online board is authentic or not, there are good ways to make an educated guess of someone's trustworthiness, and as I told you before three important factors in determining this are: 1) how long the person has been around on the board, 2) how consistent they have been over that time with their stated views and opinions ( and do they make it a point to mention when they have changed a view in a major way like Lateralus once did or do they tend to flip-flop back and forth depending on where the political stream is flowing on the board at any given time?), and finally 3) what type of posts they usually make on the board. This is why I am pretty certain that Lateralus is NOT a troll but I am not so sure about other people, especially newbies, and particularly relative newbies who have a long and colorful history of being deleted or otherwise censured by the mods for their posts.

An anti= someone who believes that the current laws prohibiting mutually consensual relationships between adults and those we today label 'minors' are laws that should be retained, and who are more or less hostile to the general principles of youth liberation since they tend to believe most of the negative stereotypes about younger people's capabilities and potential, and who often (though not always) believe in the negative stereotypes attributed to MAAs by the media (e.g., that we are psychotic, that there is a connection between our attraction to minors and a proclivity for committing violent and coercive acts, that we are all motivated by strictly selfish sexual desires and have no concern for what any young person we may be involved with would want or in any other aspect of young people other than their raw sexual appeal, that we are interested in younger people because we are socially inept with people in our own age group, etc.). Some antis believe that it's entirely possible for an MAA to be a good person and even court friendships with people in this community, but nevertheless still support the laws as they currently exist (for the most part, at least) because they believe most of the stereotypes about younger people and their inherent capabilities even if they don't believe all the above mentioned stereotypes about MAAs. Some of the latter "friendly" antis will argue that MAAs are not bad people but are simply suffering from a mental illness that can be remedied by some time spent in a good "sexual recovery" program.

An infiltrator= someone, such as a LEO, an anti vigilante, etc., who attempts to pretend to be an MAA on this board or others like it in order to win friendships with us, gain our trust, get accepted by the majority of the community, etc., so that they can acquire personal info about as many of us as possible, either with the hope of outing us on a public online board and/or to discover any illegal activity we may be involved in so that they can conduct a search warrant and have us arrested. As I noted to you elsewhere, it's not too difficult to spot most infiltrators because they tend to have distinct types of behavior and modus operandi.

A troll= someone who comes to any board you can think of online simply to stir shit, get (often negative) attention, or create general mischief. A good example are the many trolls who make outrageously sexually provocative comments on Youtube videos that feature an underage girl dancing provacatively or wearing swimsuits solely for the purpose of pissing off the "pedo police" who frequent such channels in the hope of locating and attacking "pedophiles" and provoking them into making their typical angry anti-MAA replies.
