Haha, I'm worried about what else I might meet there, such as fundamentalists that want me to burn in hell. :\ Maybe I should check out some that are less so...
I too can grow weary of feigning relationships with adults; however, as I get better it becomes more natural. Since I'm already an extremely nice person that is friendly too all, and cares about most people, it isn't very hard to make these interactions natural and common. I warn though, sometimes people have hard enough preconceptions that you can't actually befriend them. You can be nice to them, proper and what not, but if you are too friendly they start assuming suspicion from this. It is a distrust-trap that you can't get out of. When it happens, you must accept it, and move on.
That is a really sweet story how she was just naturally into you. It come back to what I think about inherent differences, qualities that people poses and broadcast a signal of those qualities, but usually the only people that can pick up that broadcast are people who would appreciate them, or be the ones they were intended for in the first place.
The chance that you could have seen her a 2nd time is the excitement that keeps me going too. I take to loss of love pretty hard, so I spend extra effort remembering the possibilities. Sure, you could fret all day about what you did wrong. But if you do, remember youre only even having such difficulty because of factors much out of your control. It is good though, to see where you can make a difference, because resigning control will get you nowhere, as you mentioned when you pointed out that if you didnt ask her parents if you could go to the amusement park, then there would be 0% chance. Maybe them knowing you before would have helped, but I still know many parents who wouldnt allow it. Though, Ive seen that sort of thing happen before, so no reason to throw in the towel to that 0%.
But just as I was about to do this, the moms friend piped in, I think shes a little young to be going out on dates.
Hah! Apparently not! She wants to, doesnt that mean something? Yes, another pathetic, yet successful attempt at thwarting youth growth, independence, and free-will. From the sounds of your description of her maturity, she sounds like she would have a very good time on that date, and would surely want a 2nd! Yes, a very positive relationship was there for her to benefit from, only to have those who are supposed to have her best interests in mind rain on the parade. Better luck next time!
