Yep, I understand entirely how you feel when it comes to interaction with children...

Having myself been the victim of a false accusation, which had a profoundly negative affect on me, I'm still nervous around kids sometimes, more because of the adults than the children.

As FTGL pointed out, we're living in a very messed up society when it comes to this. I remember a story once where a very young boy was seen wandering the streets, but everyone was too afraid to go over & help him.

By the time the police found him, he was dead.

I saw a lg at a store a couple of months back - she was around 5 or 6 yo, sitting all alone on the steps outside, crying her eyes out. I didn't feel I could go over, so I had to call the police, and then wait outside the store keeping a remote eye on her until the cops showed up. Then when the mother appeared about 15 minutes later, she started laying into the cops for interfering!

It's the media & the anti's that do all the shit-stirring that's warped society & makes folks afraid to help children. Hope that they're proud of themselves. I sure wouldn't be...

Tril.
