I am! But this was a convo by email that I had with David Riegel (SafetNet - http://safet.net/, SafeHaven - http://www.shfri.net/), if you read my post you'd know that. I was just trying to get others thoughts on this POV is all.

So, a white cannot mentor a racial minority kid? - That's not what he's saying, unless you're a male (GL) and the racial minority kid is a female.

He's saying that GLs who are male cannot be mentors to girls because they can't teach the girls "how to became a women", and such etc. but BLs (he says) on the other hand, can teach a boy "about how to become a man" among other things etc. Because he is a male so he can relate, while as GLs cannot.

That's not my view, it's his. I was merely asking a question.
