I sincerely doubt it smells authentic. As to why, I'm guessing it's due to a lack of men wearing real leather these days. It's all vinyl or what have you, due to being overly conscientious about those delicious animals. [I think you're right about who Axe is being marketed to, and I'd always assume their jacket is synthetic.] I'm betting some guys wear the Axe leather stuff to help pretend they're wearing the real deal. What I'm wondering is how it would blend with the "New Car" spray in their '91 Camry?
