I've had a genuine leather bomber jacket for years that was way more than just second hand. It was ancient when I got it. It's ripped and falling apart to the point where I needed a new one so I got a leather motorcycle jacket, also genuine leather. I just try not to think about the animal part. I can imagine the leather scented body spray would be really off-putting. When you see someone in a leather jacket you expect it, but if it's someone in a polo shirt and khaki shorts it's like "Woah, what the fuck?" Especially if it's a poorly replicated scent. It's like those guys are saying "I want to come off as a bad boy, but my appearence and persona don't allow for it. Let's give this a try".

Also, New Car Smell is one of my absolute LEAST favorite scents in the world. Gives me a headache without fail every single time.
