Your story makes me remember when I saw this little girl (a few months back) also in Wally World. She was about 6 and mostly Latina-looking. I had a funny sounding thing with me that day and was make noises with it intentionally to cause her to look at me. And I kept making the noises, because she kept peeking out at me. It was the greatest fun I had with a stranger-child in prolly my whole life. She was with what looked like her mom and Grammy. She was a raggidy type, but so cute. I was in a fixed location in Wally World for about 10 minutes just hanging waiting for my friends to be done shopping in that area of the store, when I noticed her. This lg and her folks were drifting around the aisles in this area of the store where I was waiting for my friends. And it was so much fun to see this girl peek out at me from this or that aisle. And the pouty smiley smurks on her face were so priceless. I kept making the sounds and she kept running to the edge of an aisle and peeking out. And then when she stuck her tongue out at me, That was just the icing on the cake. And of course I stuck mine out at her too. Soooooooo much fun.
