Anyways....I was originally (when I first posted this thread) under the impression that the 'Mary and Convict' image was a painting, instead of as it is -- a picture accompanied by short fictional story written by Allan Seager inside of the 1950's magazine "Good Housekeeping". So I guess I made an idiot out of myself for posting this thread at all. And I guess I deserve the responses I got. And for the record; my interpretation was all wrong. But so was - on the opposite spectrum - Watcher's.
Here's what happened: I had saw the picture on a website for paintings, assumed it was a painting, and then posted a new thread here to see how some might interpret it. I had never seen the article attached to it until now. The site that I originally saw it on did not show any article attached to it and made it look like just another painting.
Anyway, Sorry for the whole mess.
Markaba; I should have looked into what you said in your post. I would have saved myself some time and confusion if I did. I think I need to pay more attention to what people are saying. I apologize.
