Actually, child marriage STILL happens in rural Utah USA.

Unofficially, at least. And there are polygamist Mormon compounds in many other states as well, mainly Arizona and Colorado, but also Texas, etc. They're in Canada and Mexico as well. Officially, the man is married to one woman legally, but he has a few other women or girls as it were, who he is spiritually married to. Warren Jeffs and his sect were the most notorious examples I can recall.
