What did the original feminism accomplish? Well, women are now able to own their own property, and girls are able to get an education; women are free to pursue their passions in both their careers and in their personal lives; women are generally free to make the important decisions about their own lives. These are all things which modern Western cultures take for granted, yet they were virtually unheard of just two centuries ago.

Of course, even the original feminists had some serious failings: their campaign to prohibit alcohol has now morphed into the Drug War, which continues to claim tens of thousands of innocent lives each year.

That word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

But you are not alone - occasionally some jokers will circulate a petition to end women's suffrage, and they generally get over 80% of the women to whom they present the petition to sign it.
