I thought I had it down and now you've blown that away. We don't HAVE a term for kids who are attracted to kids or for teens who are attracted to teens. That's the "normal" attraction base for them, so we don't call it anything other than attraction. So why are we using ANY TERM AT ALL for same-age-attracted adults? WHY would teliophile be a term that applied to adults when we don't NEED a term to apply to adults? We don't do it for anyone else, why them?
