I might be wrong, but my understanding of the law is that you are not allowed to kill someone for molesting one of your children, nor are you allowed to kill someone in retaliation for murder. Punishments are up to the city or state.

Therefore, this guy should have to prove that the man he murdered was in fact molesting his daughter. If this is the case, at the very least he should be charged with murder under aggravated circumstances. I thought we as a society believe in human rights and that murder is never justified? Or, when it is justified, it's up to the state to do so?

It's strange that we as a society are so caught up in child sex crimes that even many CLs on these forums believe child rape is the worst thing in the world. Even if child rapists deserve to be murdered, I fail to see how it is the only crime in which murder can be justified. Yet people seem to think it is. Fact is, I'm quite certain that other forms of child abuse (ie, a beating) could damage a child much worse than a rape. It all depends on the situation and the individual.

I read through the top comments on the article and they all seemed riddled with anti-pedophile hysteria.

There are many things one can force other people to do. If forced sex (rape) is the worst out of those forceable things, then perhaps sex in general is really as horrible and serious as antis make it out to be.
