It does not matter to me WHERE stupidity comes from, church, state, or academy. Even me! I'm stupid sometimes.

What makes matters so inviting to ridicule is the insistence upon remaining stupid when the stupidity is pointed out to the victim. In my opinion, the "science" community tends to keep this to a minimum while the church has a narrow focus. However, the State makes a concerted effort to maximize stupidity in whatever they do. We, the People, give the State the motivation to do so.
