Sorry I didn't comment before.

It is a cute story. I would have been amazed if a young girl I didn't know started talking to me like I did. I probably wouldn't have been able to resist saying something back, even if it was just like "Me????"

But anyway, my best guess is that she simply mistook you for someone else. They say everyone has a twin, and I've been stopped by people in the past who were convinced at first that I was someone I wasn't.

If the girl was in an energetic goofy mood, this could also contribute to her mistaking you for someone else, because she may not be giving too much thought to it if she's too busy being silly :)
