I'm sure it does but some things are 'apartheid' by nature - such as not allowing pre-pubescents to have an equal vote as adults do since we presume them to not have anything like the knowledge and understanding of, hopefully, most adults.

This is a huge red herring. Twenty-year-olds often don't have anything like the knowledge and understanding of eighty-year-olds, yet we don't judge one's vote to be more important than another. And anyway, kids often see through adult shams right away precisely because they haven't yet developed an ideology. This is one advantage that children have over adults. I support the Epstein system or something like it. Any child with both the ability and the desire to vote should be able to do so.
