Dinner Theatre

Last week I was taking care of most of my Xmas shopping, and had to make forays into the wicked city. This involved two restaurants.

One is kinda iffy. There's an idiot waiter who works the bar area, talks very fast and almost unintelligible, and can't get the orders straight. We've learned to avoid being seated in his area.

So instead we were seated in the main dining area across the aisle from a party of three 10 year old girls in their Futbol uniforms. The 'rents were there. But the sweeties were seated on the outside, so I got a great view of the strawberry blonde, and an occasional view of her little conversational partners across the table.

The service was pretty good, but there were times one had to look around for a waiter. All the better to see the girls by :)
In the evening we ended up at a fancy pizza joint. As we were waiting to be seated there was a family with a 4 year old blonde cutie. She was dressed in pink and holding a stuffed bunny. Her bum must have itched, because at one point she had her hands down her backside rubbing it vigorously. And as I was eye-level with her and close, she decided to give me several sidelong glances.

The place was crowded with LGs and AGS.

When we got seated it was next to some tables put together for a large party; which turned out to be mostly consisted of 8 year old girls. The blonde ringleader had a vest and may've been a girl scout for the patches sewn on it. But her little friends were a regular UN of LGs. There was a Redhead, a Vietnamese girl and her older sister, a dusky lass who may've been of Arab extraction, a cute curly-haired Jewish girl with who spent more time listening thoughtfully to the mayhem, and a geek-girl with glasses; ( who, as per skinny geeks everywhere, was allergic to everything. RLY? Taking the lactose intolerant to a pizza parlor? )

Blondie was taking arts & crafts time to new levels by turning an empty Junior Mints box into a reed whistle, to the adults consternation. When the noisemaker was no longer an option, she and Geek Girl got into a friendly wrestling match. ( I halfway expected to see her tumble to the floor. ) The Vietnamese older sister had to pull up her roll-away luggage to sit kitty corner at the table. ( And from all the other 8 year old girls circling about, I suspect that the party was twice the size and had taken over several areas. )

Even the waitstaff of college age women had some attractive types. I was close to one of their stations. And I overheard one pigtailed waitress trying to explain her "do" to a waiter;
"Do you remember the Spice Girls?"
"Sorta."
"Its like Baby Spice."
She was prettier than Emma Bunton, but I thought of her as "Baby Spice" all evening.

Anywho, not bad visuals to accompany the victuals.
