if they only knew.... GM

So apparently I've found myself a LGF. This is not my claim but the claim of my coworkers. I've befriended a neighborhood girl who now comes to see me at work quite often. Enough that she's is referred to as Gannon's LGF.. She is amazing. 10 years old and the definition of budding beauty. Just at the beginning of puberty. She comes from a large and quite poor family. Not sure how much attention she gets at home. I am aware the father is usually drink abusive to the mom. I'm very concerned for the two little girls. Anyidea of signs I should watch for?

As for our interactions, they are wonderful. She's recently starting to giving me big hugs. In fact I got about a dozen today. As she left I was asking about school. She told me she likes to write and when she does, it's about me. "But don't worry, I write it in my journal so no one can read it." Oh to know what she's writing.
