If I say that many pedophiles do not abuse children, that's a radical step. If I go further and say teleios abuse kids at the same rate as pedos, it sounds ridiculous, because it is.

I think pretty much everyone I've talked with about my attractions and this particular issue has understood how most people that sexually abuse kids are not even attracted to them and therefore not really MAPs. It's been one of the least surprising or complicated things to explain to a person about all this. I was surprised that you thought such an assertion would be so absurd.
