I have my grave doubts as to whether society is ever going to approve prepubescent children deciding privately that they'd like to have sex with grown-ups. (From where the sun stands now, I don't personally see it as a good idea either.)

But what I would bet a considerable sum on is that no one is even going to dream of discussing it until they know the men who these girls might possibly be having sex with and know them as human beings. And that is never going to happen as long as you insist on the right to having sex with the girls (because of course they don't believe it would be the girls choosing you).

Most of you profess to believe that adult-child sex today is a bad idea due to iatrogenic factors. That means that any individual man should abstain. It is not a matter for productive civil disobedience. You get absolutely nowhere until you obey the central laws that are there, and speak against those who break them. That is step one.

Many of the political ideas here strike me as similar to suggesting that the German Jews in, say, 1939, should have taken their bricks and Molotov cocktails and gone to the barricades. With little sympathy from the non-Jewish population and the brutality of the Nazi state, it would have been completely suicidal. (I realize things turned out badly anyway, but from where they stood at the time it would have been a terrible choice).
