The ad hominem is a cheap shot, and rather regrettable since there are much more damning things one can say about Cantor's pseudoscience without getting overly personal.

Cantor, like many of his ilk, prefers be seen as a publicity-hound first and as a scientist second; and actively courts the media as well as barraging the poor folks at BC ( which, last I checked, was not a peer-reviewed forum. )

As most of his shrieking at critics has been done either out of the public eye ( at Sexnet ) or away from any remotely scientific forum ( at BC ) a fuller understanding of his "science" and the ad hominems that got Sexnet to ask him to desist can be found by reading his "sparring partner" Tom O'Carroll.

As far as I know he denies a need to answer the glaring epigenetic questions raised by the causal associations central to his work's relevance.
