This is purely your opinion. So I can't do much other than let what I said stand but I do want to highlight one thing you said.

Conspiracy theory? Really now? So that's how you dismiss a very valid argument? Happier without it? Why? Because as adults they are more anti-sexual than they were as kids thanks to socialization? Oh wait that's a conspiracy theory simply because it doesn't exactly fit with your opinion.

You have to quantify why they would be happier without a pleasurable consensual experience that doesn't involve a society or therapist that convinces them it was wrong way. Otherwise the "conspiracy theory" remains the best explanation.
