Some folks are colorblind when it comes to the notion that there is a difference between State tolerance and endorsement.

Its not what the SCOTUS Justices believe, and not what the Constitution says; but some folks so conflate morality with law that there is no room for moral-but-not-compelled and immoral-but-not-prohibited.
