People don't accept girllover.

They (somewhat rightly, in my opinion) see it as a weasel word. They ytust "girllovers" even less than pedophiles, cause they see it as rationalizing or sugar-coating the issue. Pedophile is the clinical term. Pedophile makes sense based on it's Greek roots. Pedophile is the term people are already familiar with. It sucks that news station bastardized the word for cheap ratings, but they took back the word gay. They even took back queer. Personally, I like the term pedophile, I call myself a pedophile, and I use the word pedophile when talking about it with other people. I think it's still our best bet, despite it's current status as an epithet. I'm a pedophile. It's just what I am. It's not a bad thing. It's just who I am.
