Great places like GC but it's good to reflect

Forums such as GC will always have a loyal core who benefit and many people come here at various times and find support so I'm thankful that places like this exist. But realistically it's a tiny tiny minority of MAPs that ever have the good fortune to find places like this and many who do become aware of these places are just too scared to visit. Pick any subject, even crazy fringe subjects and they'll have more blogs and forums than the MAP community and yet I believe MAPs make up a significant chunk of the population. Blogs and forums are great but they are dying out and have very little activity. I mean how many millions, hundreds of millions perhaps of MAPs are in the world and how many people actively even post in these places?
I don't know what the answer is, I just think it's healthy to reflect and evaluate and if the result is deciding to continue as before then great, at least we can do it confidently. Also just because things didn't work before doesn't mean they won't again. The world is changing, technology is changing, there's new ways to get messages out there, even very unpopular messages.
So while I'm not going to criticise the work going on at places like GC because I think this place is fantastic for us who already feel a sense of community of stirrings to fight, I am going to encourage anyone who wishes to reflect and think and if we can develop better ways to get our message out there then we should. At the moment the popular voice people here is the ignorant voice that relies on emotion and deception rather than love and compassion.
