Besides, that war has long been fought and lost, we are living in a new era of hyper-surveillance and soft social control. GC is sadly a derelict squat compared to 15 years ago. That is not a criticism of the GC team, but more a reflection of the censorious paranoid times we live in. Many have abandoned the scene. You are not blame for that, but we have to recognise this is the reality and adapt.. otherwise GC and all those blogs you talk about just exist as s moribund debating society.. isolated.. lonely.. totally out of touch with the wider world in which we live. For growth to happen, change is necessary. That is the only way girllove will reach out to wider society. To be fundamentalist and protective about everything effectively alienates us from the wider community and particularly those marginal and non-conscious 'girllovers' out there in the real world. To keep the relentless cock-talk about child sexuality will just lead to the online community going the same way as PIE in the 80's.. and perhaps deservedly so, because it is so far out, and polluting what is essentially a very healthy and rewarding life-interest.

girllove badly needs reconstruction and a good makeover. I'm prepared to go public and face the media, but I need something to go to the media WITH.. and I would just find a lot of stuff currently to be intellectually indefensible, and sometimes even morally indefensible. I need to be confident in the product so to speak, to have a leg to stand on, and a chance to win over a few people.

Take the community with me or just go it alone.
