Sadly, I don't have a whole lot of GMs and I have zero little girls in my life.

My real gripe with organized religion is when it starts all its oppression, such as I mentioned, teaching kids that they could goto hell, or even repressing pedophiles and children sexually.

The "Religious Views" debate did actually teach me to be more open-minded. I guess what I realized is that I'm not satisfied with my own scientific answers, nor am I satisfied with the answer of God alone. I want the real answer to be much more fantastic and complex than all that.

And I am coming to accept there is probably an afterlife (God or no god), but if there are no little girls there I can be with, then it isn't for me.

What you believe is up to you, and yes, there could be a God. And no, I never believed he is some white guy with a beard. I'll just never be confident that there is a God, nor will I pray to Him, unless it can be proven the same way evolution, the big bang, and the existence of molecules and atoms have been.

I'm going to continue living as an atheist, even though some of my beliefs are unorthodox according to atheism. How you live is up to you.
