I have friends who are devout Evangelicals, Christians, Catholics, Pagans, etc. I personally don't care what their what their views are. If they care to debate, I am happy to jump right in. My only concern is the the Evangelicals who feel that "religious freedom" means imposing their views on others. That's where I draw the line.
It has been the Christian extremist that has oppressed us. In the U.S., the Supreme Court ruled that any adult can view anything they want in their own home. Despite this, ultra conservatives passed restrictive laws restricting what we can view.
Today, they blur the line between church and state. They feel that people must be forced to stand for the National anthem. Odd that they should practice a form of idolatry when their religion strictly prohibits that. That's what pisses me off.
