Sure

The thing is that foreigners trying to influence elections shouldn't be seen as extraordinary. And while there may be some electoral laws violated there (which merits investigation and if found guilty, punishment) it is not as if this was the first time it happens, or the only country who does it, but it is still being treated as a truly unique event. And for all those meetings, it wasn't them who won the election for the Donald either. In the end it was American citizens who did it. (And other American citizens who lost it, too)
