I can imagine differently if ONLY girls, though with a little more snooty caveat that they were better behaved, as I think public schools in some regions have gone off the rails in recent years.
No, I don't think she was into boys. I think she had a particular political agenda which she could freely indoctrinate into public school kids without any pushback or notice at all. I have some conflicted beliefs regarding the liberation of girls, sans the demonetization of their classic femininity, and the liberation of boys, sans the demonetization of their masculinity. Feminism demonizes both of these, IMO, and as such, I've come to despise its more recent manifestations. Now, on a good day when I was feeling well and a bunch of cute lil girls in school uniforms got on the bus with me? Sure, I think I'd feel differently! Sorry, it's not the most PC reply, but it's true. They can be more enlightened without being more obnoxious. |
