I am not a fan of saying that since there are worse things in the world, we should excuse things that are not quite as bad.

Hence, if you believe Peter having sex with a young girl is infinitesimally worse than the worst action of the "bad guys" above, you should not give them a free pass, and certainly not excuse them.

It would be most refreshing to read your criticism, not of merely flawed pedophiles (Peter), but of bad guys, such as Savage insisting we shouldn't babysit, Cantor working to genocide us or even the VP moderators, calling pedophiles scum or child molesters.

Is the suffering of pedophiles, due to the "bad guys", of no consequence, since you have rejected consequentialism?
