I don't know about the gay community, my only contacts have been on what might be considered the SJW or gatekeeper side - were even a hypothetical relationship between a 20-something man and a 16-year-old girl (fully legal here!) was condemned in no uncertain terms. While the possibility for special pleading exists, I doubt it would be extended to us or the girls loving us. I thank God I didn't mention 6-year-olds girls or outed myself.

I just want to be legally allowed to be mutually committed to who I love most. I don't seem to care anymore if the glances I get are approving or disapproving. I'm willing to be an outcast. A legal one.

I fully agree. Being able to legally love is sufficient,
I'd certainly not demand special treatment of society.
