Problem solved.
I don't even have a thing for boys in skirts, but it's only fair. Skirts these days have shorts attached anyway, so nobody's getting any peeks. I have to admit, restricting choices and encouraging homogeneity is entirely in the line of authoritarian thinking behind uniform rules. So it's not like they're being inconsistent. Logically, I can't argue with their position. I just fundamentally disagree with their entire perspective. Girls should be allowed to wear whatever they want (and encouraged to wear anything and everything that emphasizes those qualities that can stop full-grown men in their tracks). But if they have to be forced to wear anything, it should be nothing at all. |
