Gays got acceptance because (1) they were consenting individuals, (2) there are so many of them, and (3) they were very vocal.

We cannot ever get acceptance because (1) the people we want to love "belong" to someone else, (2) the people we want to love have no legal right to consent or not consent, and (3) who is out there yelling "Hey, I'm a pedophile and I demand MY rights!" nobody.

The only thing we can do today is obey the Eleventh Commandment. That's extremely risky because, should the 11th be broken, it won't be just you that gets hurt.
