I do in fact like Couscous. I also like Ethiopian food, at all but one of the Ethiopian restaurants I've eaten at. (That one was the only one which did not employ any actual Ethiopians.)

I had no idea that "Boer" is considered a derogatory term in English. Of course "boor" is a derogatory term which has the same ultimate origin, but I have never heard "Boer" used in a derogatory sense.

I didn't use "Afrikaner" earlier because I thought it might be confusing to someone not familiar with the term.
