... it would appear that we have some common interests with Russia, especially in restricting the ability of the United States and the United Kingdom to export their pedo-hatred around the world.

And frankly, since about 2000 Russia appears to have been doing a better job of upholding American values than the United States has. Far from perfect, to be sure.
