Thanks so much for sharing some of your reactions to the survey.

Re: virped & b4uact --> we just provided these as examples but recognize that some in the MAP community do not participate in these discussion groups for various reasons.

Re: managing interest --> We recognize that many people do absolutely just fine and would disagree with all of the questions we included about this. There will be others who have different experiences. You raise an interesting point that makes me think that people from different discussion boards might respond differently.

Re: successful MAPs --> It would be great to have people involved in the survey who are not participating in online communities. I could imagine there would be some important differences there to look at. This group is challenging to recruit for numerous reasons.

Overall we recognize that many people in the MAP community do not need help and are doing very well. We are also aware that there are others who face challenges and have expressed interest in seeking out services. It is a shame that people can not easily seek such services.

On a semi-related note, I think it would also be great to focus on resiliency factors in MAPs and this is something we should do in the future.
