I don't see any value in contributing to the body of literature that portrays us as having an illness or any similar characterization.

If you have an interest in convincing them that they are wrong, you can do so without taking part in a study that only serves to work against us.

And:

Ask that to every other researcher that studies pedophiles/pedophilia that portrays us in that way - which is nearly all of them - as they can answer that question for you.
