Your proposal would be good if we didn't trust science, logic, or had trouble with reality.

The problem is not that we don't trust researchers, or psychology.

The problem is that WE KNOW MOST PEOPLE IN SOCIETY WANT US DEAD OR IN JAIL, regardless of our offense history, or lack thereof.
