To what end?

Taking the view that there is only one issue to research is a mistake and advocating for a myopic view of the sexuality and psychology of CLs/MAPs is short-sighted and will limit the advances we make in our understanding.

Whereas insisting child/adult sex is sexual abuse is not advocating a myopic view of sexuality, limiting the advances of actual science?

Slaved to such a view, how would increased understanding probably be used?
