And what he terms the "oppression of children" is merely the retention of the child protection laws we now have.

"Protection" has notoriously been used as a euphemism for control and oppression. Laws which deny any specific demographic freedom of choice and the right to be the architect of their own destinies not only leads to tyranny and harm for the group in question, but ultimately for all demographics due to the precedent it sets. So, Hadjuk was right in that regard.

As for totalitarianism, any introduction of draconian laws into an ostensibly democratic framework invariably results in their spreading like cancer cells in a biological organism. There are never just a few, and only a few, such laws because each one sets a very nasty precedent for further and deeper encroachments of civil liberties in the name of "security."

Hadjuk was a bit histrionic in his other accusations, but putting his overwrought language aside, this is what I believe he meant if you put it into proper perspective.

Laws oppressing youths in the name of "protection" have historically led to oppressive laws against MAPs, along with their complete cultural demonization. The pain needlessly inflicted on us in order to achieve this agenda no matter the stated noble intentions, and the resulting attempts to legislate, censor, shame, marginalize, and imprison us out of existence is arguably "genocide" in apt metaphor if not in terms of actual systematic execution.

Also, placing all identified MAPs in the equivalent of concentration camps has actually been suggested during the heyday of the hysteria a decade ago, and the ridiculous restrictions on living conditions for those accused of even innocuous offenses or for merely looking at pictures can be easily seen as an attempt to more or less exile us from "polite" society. And let's not forget civil commitment legislation, much of which makes MAPs who run afoul of the law the only group who are routinely subject to ex post facto laws (forbidden by the U.S. Constitution) and those which continue punishment and penalization after a designated prison sentence runs its course. This is a message sent by society to MAPs/Kind folk that if you "violate" a child or young teen by having a consensual romantic relationship with her against the will of society, then society will never forgive and never forget; you're a "marked" individual for life, subject to numerous punitive measures the rest of your days because society is just that pissed off at you. This leads to a high level of suicide and emotional anguish for MAPs who have run afoul of the law in ways that caused no demonstrable harm but simply offended society.

As for the "destruction of civilization," I'm not sure exactly what Hadjuk meant by that, but he may have meant (again, in overwrought fashion) that draconian laws based on prohibition set very dangerous precedents for all of society, and can eventually lead to an extremely draconian world order that can very well destroy every last semblance of democracy. This is most certainly not where we're at, but we are certainly at a place where the potential is clearly there.
