Not at all. I was just noting that some pedophiles feel that way, and their voices might not be heard very often.

When I googled, "GirlChat" had twice as many hits as "Virtuous Pedophiles". That surely doesn't settle the issue, of course. But NAMBLA gets ten times as many hits, and the pro-legalization case has been around for something near 40 years. It's had plenty of time to go viral. The simplest explanation for why it doesn't is that people have considered the idea and rejected it.

If we truly agree on many things, then try to discuss some of those points of agreement here on more than very rare occasions, Ethan, instead of just engaging in heated discourse on the consent issue.

I've reviewed my posts from August so far. A fair number sprang from your "40 things about antis" post, but covered a far broader ground than legalization but child liberation more broadly. Other posts included (1) telling Billi her arguments against adult-child sex were weird and unconvincing, (2) rejecting "if you're not one of us you can't understand", (3) saying mandated reporting is a big problem and not just a limited one, (4) answering the research finding on girl-attracted pedophiles being 10 times as common as boy-attracted ones, and (5) saying pedophilia is an unfortunate accident and not something adaptive.
