It is rare these days to get a man to even admit that 14 year old women are attractive, despite the fact that for most of human history most women of such an advanced age were already married.

I agree with this basic observation. Maybe 70% would never consider admitting it. But I think well over 5% will admit it, and even more if anonymously online.

Women have always been far more dependent on their reputation than men, far more sensitive to public opinion, and far less tolerant of risk than men...Girls and women are simply far more circumspect about what they say and how they say it.

That had some merit in the past but started changing a lot in the 1970s. With the feminist perspective achieving ascendance, girls and women can admit to just about any desire and be accepted for it.

Here's one bit of evidence... Lots of 10-year-old girls post somewhat provocative videos on YouTube, many of which get removed due to community standards violations. They know men or boys find them sexy, they enjoy the attention, and aren't deterred by the prospect of being shamed -- in part because they don't understand the consequences, but in large part because many of them rightly perceive that they won't be shamed.

Girls can report crushes on movie stars without shame, or crushes on teachers. I don't see as they would be shamed for expressing their intense desire to actually have sex with those teachers and their outrage that society won't let them. They wouldn't suffer any consequences if they said it anonymously online. Extremely few say that because extremely few feel it.
