...while I agree with much of what you said to Billi, I do not agree with your dismissal of all incels as a group who does not receive some real oppression of their own, even if of a different sort than MAPs. They are, after all, outcasts (again, even if of a different sort) who have been rejected by the same society, with the same indoctrinated values, that has produced both oppression of youths and MAPs as well as sex workers (I'll get to them in a moment).

If you happen to be a heterosexual man who is unattractive, you will be in for a lot of heartache and emotional tribulations, which is most definitely a form of oppression. Especially since we live in a society that places such strong value on a male's sexual prowess. We also live in a society that causes men and women to compete with each other to gain the emotional upper hand in relationships rather than just promoting mutual honesty between the genders. And the way women are raised in our culture causes them to develop values that lean towards choosing men on the basis of challenge and perceived "strength," which leaves alpha males who have a natural attractiveness and the strongest competitive attitudes with all the advantages.

Yes, it's wrong for incels to develop a powerful hatred of women, and it's a shame that the communities of incels that established forums on Reddit over the last decade became dominated by this very "loud" sub-portion of angry and emotionally damaged incels. But there are many incels who do not hate women and who do their best to make peace with their situation. And believe me, it's not easy.

We didn't create some "black pill" ideology to convince ourselves that the world hates us.

Society tends to look down on men who are not attractive, and also tends to blame such men 100% for that shortcoming, when there are plenty of very attractive alpha males who are major assholes to women, do not particularly respect women, gleefully objectify women, and who have an extremely inflated view of themselves--yet remain very attractive and successful with women because society raises and indoctrinates females to view lack of tender feelings in a man as a sign of strength and viewing the presence of those feelings as a sign of "wussiness" and thus not attractive. Women are also conditioned to presume that a man displaying confidence with women automatically translates into a confident man in general. And of course, the opposite is presumed of men they meet whose unattractiveness and lack of experience with relationships obviously causes them to be awkward, nervous, and to lack confidence with women even if they are very confident in other situations they have had much success with.

I understand it's very trendy these days to have contempt for incels due to that "loud" grouping of them that dominated discussions on Reddit, along with one of them going off the deep end and committing a spree killing in Toronto, both of which gained a lot of notoriety in the recent press. However, there are many incels who are not like that, but they are usually overlooked by the mainstream, often SJW-dominated press. Since amorous fulfillment on all levels is of extreme importance to all human beings, their behavior is explainable and understandable even if in no way condonable or justified.

Next, let us take into consideration that incels can rarely even find simple sexual fulfillment since the same culture that produces all of the above (the society that antis favor and regard so highly) deny women the legal right to legally choose sex work as a vocation, which would allow them to provide a very important service to incels at the former's own volition. In this particular case, incels are indeed subject to denial of a certain type of fulfillment due to the law, as are the decent women who would willingly provide them that service while in exchange receiving a reliable source of income to earn a living from (I will make a point to state here that not all centrist librul anti-choicers are against the right of adult women to choose sex work as a vocation; Ethan has noted that he is not among them, for instance).

Billi's question, of course, is based on the popular misconception and assumption (antis love their assumptions) that MAPs would (if legally allowed) seek relationships with youths because they are "unable" to get relationships with adult women, which she presumes would the be a natural preference for all men if they were able to attract them. Much as it's often similarly assumed that law-abiding MAPs like myself who seek out romance with much younger women of legal age must be doing so because we are "unable" to "score" with middle-aged women. This is part of their ignorant presumption that age-based attraction is always a choice.

Hence, I think all groups who are oppressed, with varying combinations of social ostracism and legally prohibited ability to fulfill their natural human desires on all levels, should show each other sympathy and understanding rather than instead displaying mutual contempt.
